Of nuptials and blog posts

A friend recently said to me that she reckons blogs are written by "disturbed" people who need a way out. LOL!

I certainly don't consider myself disturbed :D but perhaps there was some point to the statement. What is a weblog anyway? More often than not, it's a means of expression, a vent, as it were, to one's feelings, aspirations and interests.

....and yes, I guess it does offer some a way out. So after that long(ish) missive, I have decided that starting this blog was not an accident; I really have to style up and start using it! So without further ado, here are a few photos from some weddings I shot not too long ago.

Enjoy :)

I love attending weddings as a guest. It gives me freedom to shoot without pressure, without expectations, without encumbrances. And it's always a one-lens affair. I leave all the zooms at home and carry just one prime. So much fun!

Sometimes you get to shoot in less than clement weather conditions. But the last thing you want to do is let that dampen your spirits or stifle your creativity! As photographers, we always have to roll with the punches! Because rain or shine, we have to deliver. My advice? have fun while you're at it. No matter the weather ;)

Every wedding is unique. That's what I enjoy most. There's such a wide gamut of experiences; sights, sounds, atmosphere, energy...

I really love detail and the little touches that make every wedding unique.
